Optimizing complexities

In the preceding article, we started looking into the Technical Delivery Business Unit.  In this article, we are introducing the Industrial Engineering team that focuses on improving and integrating people, processes, technology and infrastructure in capital intensive projects and operations.

Margariet Lumgair is the Principal Industrial Engineer who leads a team of esteemed Industrial Engineers.

Her strategy involves targeting and nurturing each individual’s strengths in order to stimulate personal and group excellence which, in turn, ensures that the clients’ successes are realised.

Industrial Engineering Team

Together with Margariet, the following consultants make up the Industrial Engineering team:

  • Suzaan van der Zee, Industrial Engineering Consultant
  • Robert Oosthuizen, Industrial Engineering Consultant
  • Jako du Plessis, Industrial Engineering Consultant
  • Lekomachidi Motsileng, Junior Industrial Engineering Consultant

Within each project, various options need to be evaluated before being compared against explicit criteria.

Selecting the most viable option, without the means to test the impact on the complete eco-system in which the project will operate, can be challenging.

However, our Industrial Engineering professionals empower VBKOM’s clients to make these difficult decisions by using their comprehensive suite of decision support tools shown in the graphic below:
